Our beloved Christopher J. Brown, 26, went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2024.  Chris was Born on February 11, 1998. Chris was a loving child that had enjoyed going to church, playing football and spending time with his family.

Chris faced challenges as a teenager and was proud to have graduated from a program that started his path to a successful life. Chris was proud that he received his diploma, his Driver’s license, and was a proud Painter with the Newport News Shipbuilding. He had aspirations of writing a children’s book and being a motivational speaker on Youtube.

Chris enjoyed recording and listening to music, reading, playing basketball and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved sports (The Celtics and  the Colts).

Chris believed in God and as he got older his faith in the Lord grew stronger.  He loved to love people and he never judged people and loved everyone. Chris would always say “You need to Trust in God”.

His love for his family was apparent to all who knew him. God truly blessed us with the many years he allowed him to share with us.

Chris assumed many titles; A son, A brother, An uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

Chris was preceded by grandmothers; Cora Phillips and Ethel Brown.

He is survived by his mother Letica Moses(David Moses-Stepfather) and his Father Nigel Lee Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His sisters Laken Phillips,Whitney White (Maurice J. White) & Nimira Brown. his uncle Anthony Phillips (Stephanie Phillips)  aunts, Belinda Brown-Lewis(Stephen Lewis), & Arlena Brown. A host of great aunts, great uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Those who were around Chris knew how special and kind he was.

It is the desire of the Moses/Brown family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
