She was born to the late Moses and Fannie Taylor. She was baptized into Christ at an early age. She married the late Willie Benson and moved to New Orleans, La. Christine was full of life and will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Sharlene Benson Jones. Three granddaughters: Bernita Whitsett( Mark); Kendrell Jones all of New Orleans, La and Monique Semone Carlos( Dominic) of Mesa Arizona; Two grandsons: Willie Benson of New Irleans, La and David Celestine Jr of Mesa Arizona. 17 great-grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her late husband Willie Benson, her parents: Moses and Fannie Taylor; three children: Deloris Celestine; Darlene Benson; Willie Pearl Benson; her son-in-law David Celestine Sr., Four sisters: Pauline Cooley, Calognia Taylor, Annie Jo(Mary), and Classie Thomas; and two brothers: Horace Taylor and Tommie Lee Hughes.
