Christine Grace Lagattuta, lovingly known as Tina, was born on May 24, 1969, in Buffalo, NY, and passed away on December 14, 2024, in Longwood, FL. A devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Tina’s life was a testament to her kindness, vibrant spirit, and deep love for those closest to her.
Tina’s childhood in Buffalo, NY, and later in North Miami Beach, FL, shaped her into the warm, loving person so many came to know and adore. She treasured her close-knit friendships from these formative years, many of which lasted throughout her life. Tina graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High, and spent the rest of her life in Florida embracing the sunshine.
Tina’s love for her family was boundless, but it was her relationship with her son, Nicholas Lagattuta, that was extra special to her. Tina cherished all the adventures they had together, most recently being her visit with Nick to Las Vegas and Zion National Park for his 40th birthday.
Tina’s beloved boxer, Anthony, was also a constant companion to Tina, and his memory remained close to Tina’s heart long after he passed away.
Beyond her devotion to her family, Tina had a zest for life. She found happiness in the simple pleasures: relaxing at the beach, unwinding by the pool, and soaking up the sun. She was also a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills, and no Sunday would be complete without cheering for her team.
In addition to her son Nicholas, Tina is survived by her parents, Charles and Katherine Lagattuta; her siblings, Sean Lagattuta and Sandra (James) Holt; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
Tina’s sweet smile, vibrant energy, and warm heart left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. Her positive, "It’s all good" attitude was a source of comfort to so many. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.
Though she is no longer with us, Tina’s memory will live on in the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will remain a guiding force for her family and friends forever.
