Chrishawn Nicole Curry was born to Christopher Sr and Latesha Curry on January 19, 1994, in Baltimore, MD. Our family lost a beautiful young woman on Thursday, October 31, 2024, when Chrishawn affectionately known as “Chrissy” passed away from cardiac arrest.  

Chrissy girl received her education in Harford County and graduated from John Archer High School in June 2015. Chrishawn was the center of her family but more so the center of her mother’s life. She held a special place in all who knew her. She loved her family and when she recognized your voice, she would open her eyes so wide as to say, I know who you are. 

Chrissy was a blessing to her nurse Marie but even more so, Marie was a blessing to Chrissy. They had their own special relationship, and it was not as a nurse and patient. It was more like sisters. The bond was a bond that was very clear. Thank you, Marie, for not just taking care of Chrissy but for taking care of my family and becoming family. 

Chrissy is survived by her parents: Christopher Sr and Latesha, Maternal Grandparents : Calvin & Robin Lovick, Parental Grandparents: Charlene Little and Ronald Curry, Great Aunts: Aunt Thelma, Aunt Virginia, Aunt Beverly and Aunt Brenda Three Great Uncles Uncle Edward (Jeanie)Uncle Doug and Uncle Milton (Hermine) Brothers: DaQuan (Kaja), Chris Jr A.K.A “Freddy”, Christian A.K.A “Eli” and Nicholas A.K.A Nick, two aunts-Constance, Catrina (Leslie), two uncles Calvin Jr. and Antonio Sr. , four nieces, Laila, Camren, Cali, Aura a host cousins,  family and friends. 

Chrishawn proceeded in death by grandmother, Betty Jean Lovick affectionately known as “Me-ma”. 

Her spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who was blessed to experience her presence as well as those she had a special connection with share your stories of remembrance on the celebration of Chrissy’s life.
