Chia Yang, born on June 12, 1944 in Laos, passed away on July 23, 2024 in Fresno, CA surrounded by her loved ones. She was the second wife to Nom Yeej Vaj. Chia will continue to live her life through her children, Cua Vaj, Thaib Vaj, Mos Vaj, Nyiaj Tub Vaj, Jimmy Vaj, and 15 grandchildren. Chia is also blessed with 6 step children, Xab Vaj, Khab Vaj (belated), Yis Vaj, Ntsuab Nyiaj Ma Vaj (Es Vaj), Daws Vias Lis, Xwm Vaj, countless step grandchildren, great step grandchildren, and extended family members. Chia’s greatest joy in life was her children, and she has devoted her time and energy to their well-being and happiness. Her kind and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting imprint on those she encountered. Chia will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, as well as her genuine kindness towards others. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
