Obituary

Cheryl Cathleen Thomas, affectionately known as Cheryl or Mimi, peacefully passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 63. She was born on July 12, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, and had been residing in Seagoville, Texas.

Cheryl dedicated her life to caring for others as an at-home caregiver. Her selflessness and compassion touched the lives of those she cared for, bringing comfort and support during their times of need.

Cheryl was married to Everett Thomas, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. Their bond was a source of strength and happiness throughout their years together.

Cheryl was also a proud mother to three children. Sadly, one of her children, Elvie May Aaron, passed away before her, leaving behind cherished memories. Her surviving children, Danny Aaron and Christy Aaron, will forever hold their mother's love in their hearts.

Cheryl delighted in being a grandmother to seven grandchildren. Tessia Blackwell, Ashley Stepp, Sara Blackwell, Barbara, Michael Payne, Marissa, and her two beloved "dandans" brought immeasurable joy to her life. Additionally, Cheryl was blessed with seven great-grandchildren, who brought her endless smiles and laughter.

Cheryl's impact on the lives of others went beyond her caregiving profession. She was known for her kind and loving nature, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand. Cheryl's sweet demeanor touched the hearts of those around her, leaving a lasting impression wherever she went. However, if someone managed to upset her, Cheryl had no qualms about letting them know.

Cheryl Cathleen Thomas will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who were fortunate to have known her. Her memory will forever be treasured, and her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those who were touched by her presence.
