Obituary

Cherie was the baby of her family. She had her big brother, Jeff and her sister, Kathy. Her mother was a nurse and her father was a Detective in Detroit, Michigan. Cheri was married to John Farmer and had 4 children. Doris who goes by Deedee, twins John and Kristy and the baby, Emma. After our parents divorced, momma and us 4 kids moved to Georgia where we grew up, got married and had families of our own. After mom was forced to quit work due to being disabled, she moved in with Emma and her husband, Terry and Emma’s youngest daughter, Jacey. Terry took excellent care of momma until she passed away, Terry was the best son in law ever. Our mother will be forever loved, missed and her memory forever cherished.

OBITUARY

Cherie was born on May 4, 1944 and fell asleep in death June 24, 2023.

Cherie is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Doris Glisman, her brother Jeffery Glisman, her sister Kathy Hess and precious granddaughter Lindsey R. Farmer.

Cherie is survived by her children Doris “Deedee” Tumlin, John Farmer Jr, Kristy Farmer, Emma Smith and one bonus son, Terry Smith. Grandchildren Jackie (Justin) Poss, Amanda Tumlin, Kristina Johnson, Trevor “Sean” Owens, Jeanne (Simeon) Hall, Tyler Yarborough, Nathan Yarborough, Jacey Owens, Jonathon Farmer, Noah Farmer, Bo Reavis and great grandchildren Aria Owens, Dylan Owens, Jameson Poss, Piper Poss, Amira Hall and Ayla’Grace Parks. Several nieces and nephews.

Cherie’s memorial will be held on July 2, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm. D&D Customs 373 McDonough pkwy McDonough, Ga
