Chelsea Christian Bridgman Ferguson, known affectionately as Maria Flores, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the age of 45. Born on March 17, 1979, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, Chelsea grew up surrounded by the love of her family and friends, which shaped her into the vibrant person she became. She had a love for all animals especially her dogs. She had a shy and sweet personality, and always put others first.

Chelsea most recently resided in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, where she embraced the community with her warm spirit and infectious laughter. She was married to Joe Flores, with whom she shared a deep bond and countless cherished memories.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, her father Brock (Marilynn), and her brothers Brock (Stacey) and Parker (Stephanie). She also leaves her niece Elle, and nephews Tate and Carter whom she loved. Chelsea was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Ferguson, who she missed dearly.

Chelsea's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her kindness, creativity, and passion for life will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and the many lives she touched during her time with us.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. at Victory Christian Centre, 593 Alma St., Port Perry, Ontario.
