Married at age 23 to Donald Haines; gave birth to a daughter, Laura Louise Haines, at age 25; divorced from Donald Haines; later married (Alice) Denise Danford in 2009; survived by wife, daughter, siblings, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-niece

Diagnosed with Lupus at age 16; spent one year of high school in the hospital
