Obituary

Charlie Dale Adkisson, affectionately known as Chuck, was born on June 21, 1976, in Wichita, Kansas, and passed away on September 15, 2024, in Leander, Texas. He was a devoted husband to Samantha Adkisson, whom he married on October 6, 2001, and a loving father to his five children: Tera Adkisson, Wesley Lewis, Aaron Adkisson, Isabella Adkisson, and Natalie Adkisson.

Charlie served proudly in the United States Navy and enjoyed a successful career as a Project Manager for Brookfield Residential. He was a passionate coach for his children’s sports teams, dedicating countless hours to their development and success, and was actively involved in his community, volunteering for the rodeo committee.

An avid outdoorsman, Charlie loved boating, fishing, and hunting, often relishing weekends spent at his favorite place, Cannery Cove. He was a fervent supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Texas Longhorns, and could often be found cheering for his teams with infectious enthusiasm. Charlie enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, particularly a visit to his favorite Chinese buffet.

Charlie was known for his loving, generous nature and his ability to make those around him feel valued and important. He had a knack for dancing and singing, and his gentle and patient demeanor endeared him to all who knew him. He lived by the motto, "There is always a way, a solution," which reflected his optimistic approach to life's challenges.

He is survived by his parents, Ernie and Betty Adkisson; his siblings, Theresa Clark, Beverly Adkisson, and Bruce Adkisson; and his cherished family members who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. Charlie’s impact on the lives of others was profound; he exemplified what it meant to be a devoted family man and a community leader. His belief in Jesus Christ and God the Father guided him throughout his life, shaping his values and the way he treated others.

Charlie Dale Adkisson will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
