Charles Wayne Shrum, affectionately known as Chuck, passed away on January 25, 2025, in his hometown of Tracy City, Tennessee. Born on February 28, 1964, Chuck was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his son, Johnathan Shrum, and his daughter, Brandy (Derrick) Nunley, along with his three grandsons, Drayke Johnson, Waylon Nunley, and Peyton Nunley. Chuck cherished his family deeply and took pride in watching his grandsons grow.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, Chuck is survived by his brother, Howard (Eddie) Shrum, as well as nieces Natalie Hilliard and Ashley Curry, and nephews Howard Shrum (Jr) and Justin Shrum. He will also be remembered by his lifelong best friends, Darrin and Paula Hampton, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chuck was known for his goofy sense of humor and quiet demeanor, traits that endeared him to those who knew him. He left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
