Charles was more than a son, father, brother, and friend—he was a light in the lives of all who knew him. He was known for his humor, his ability to make people laugh, and the deep love he had for his family and especially his children. His presence, strength, and spirit will forever be remembered and deeply missed.

Obituary for Charles Antwan Wade Jr. Aka C-Hunnit
Charles Antwan Wade Jr., born on January 14, 1990, in Kinston, North Carolina, transitioned from this life on April 27, 2026.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Howard (“Sissy”), and his brother, Malcolm Howard (“Nubby”), Aunts Tanis Strickland, Cheryl Glenn, Uncle Dennis (Cornell) Wade. From mother legacy Aunt Beverly Simmions and Uncles Bobby Simmons, Jimmy Simmons, Nene Simmons and George D. Simmoms.
Charles was a loving father, a devoted family man, and someone who brought light and laughter wherever he went. He had a deep love for music, especially rapping, and expressed himself through his creativity. He was also known for being a “jack of all trades,” with a special talent as a skilled mechanic. Charles took pride in working with his hands and helping others whenever he could.
Above all, Charles loved his children deeply. He leaves to cherish his memory his beautiful daughter, Aariyah Wade, and his son, Shamarri Forbes, who meant the world to him.
He is also survived by his father, Charles Wade Sr.; his loving siblings: brother Oakley Howard; sisters Frances Howard and Crystal Wade; and Sharlina Robinson. Charles also leaves behind Aunts Diane,Nancy, Dorothy(Kenneth)Alice, Marilyn, Tanitial, Deborah, Mardecia and Uncles Milton, Eddie, Curtis, Samuel lll, Ronnie, Kenneth Earl, Dennis,Fred, David along with Special friend Deerah Council, Sharlina and Ebony with a host of nieces, nephews, close cousins extended family, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Charles attended Pitt County Public Schools and was known for his friendly spirit, sense of humor, and ability to make others smile. He truly enjoyed being around family and friends and was a joy to all who knew him.
Though he is no longer with us, we hold on to the promise that God will never leave nor forsake us. Charles will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
