Charles Mitchell, born on November 27, 1973, embarked on his final journey on March 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was a beloved father, a witty brother, a cherished son, and an amiable friend. Charles's unwavering presence touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Originally hailing from North Carolina, Charles eventually made his home in Virginia, following the path of his beloved mother, Patsy, who preceded him in death. It was in Virginia that Charles built a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Survived by his devoted son, Michael, Hampton, VA; and loving daughter, Latrishe (Jerry), Rocky Mount, NC; grandchildren, Jerry III, Karter, and Helena, Rocky Mount, NC. Charles's family was his greatest source of joy and pride. He found much jubilation in watching his children grow, always offering support and encouragement along the way.

In addition to his children, Charles leaves behind cherished relatives, including his Aunt Rita, Hampton, VA; Great-Grandmother Nancy, Washington, D.C.; and Uncles Benny Hampton, VA; and Dwayne, North Carolina; who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Charles's legacy extends far beyond his immediate family, as he touched the lives of countless others with his kindness and compassion. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though Charles may no longer walk among us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was loved deeply and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
