Charles Larry Johnson, known affectionately as Larry and PopPop, passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on March 11, 1939, in Houston, Texas, Larry spent his later years in Atascocita, Texas.

Larry was a devoted husband to Sue, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family that included his cherished children, Jacquelyn, Lori, and Lisa. Larry took immense pride in his role as a grandfather and great-grandfather, finding joy and fulfillment in the accomplishments and lives of his grandchildren.

A man who embraced life with optimism, Larry often said, "Life goes on!" This motto resonated deeply with those who knew him, reflecting his enduring spirit and resilience.
