Obituary

Charles Edward Domino, lovingly known as "The Real OG," passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born on April 11, 1957, in Houston, TX, and most recently resided in Plaquemine, LA.

Charles was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in listening to music, especially the soulful tunes of Frankie Beverly. He also cherished spending time with his friends, creating lasting memories.

When it came to food, Charles had a few favorites. He relished pork chops with a tomato salad, had a weakness for peanut butter, and couldn't resist the sweet taste of strawberries and grapes.

A fan of Western TV shows and female college basketball, Charles found entertainment in these pastimes. He also had a passion for basketball, which he followed with great enthusiasm.

Professionally, Charles served in the Marine Corps Reserves. He took pride in his career achievements and always approached life with the motto, "You have book sense and no common sense."

One of Charles's proudest accomplishments was creating a meaningful bond with his grandchildren. He was a devoted father to La'Nita, La'Kita, La'Tosha, Drake Critney, and Magnum Domino. He is survived by his mother, Ruby "Ruth" Lee Domino, his sister Danna Domino, and seven cherished grandchildren.

Charles will be remembered for his hard-headedness, his outgoing nature, his free spirit, and his tenacious spirit of fighting for what he believed in. He impacted the lives of those around him by generously giving whenever he had the means.

A Baptist by faith, Charles leaves behind a legacy of love and memories. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
