Charles Duane Redenz, affectionately known as Chuck or Charlie, passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on August 2, 1948, in Union City, PA, he spent his recent years residing in Conley, GA.
Chuck was the beloved husband of Bonita Redenz, with whom he shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. He was the proud father of five children: Charles Duane Redenz III, Wayne Christopher Redenz, Michael Joseph Redenz, Amanda Sue Hernandez, and Jill Marie Fernandez. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, including Jacob Redenz, Ashleigh Houston, Jose Hernandez, and many more, as well as his great-grandson, Malakai Hernandez.
The son of Charles Duane Redenz Sr. and Beatrice Redenz, Chuck is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Olander and Dennis Redenz. He was known for his passion for restoring Mopars and enjoyed the thrill of playing the lottery. Chuck loved attending car shows, following NASCAR racing, and cherished moments spent with family during gatherings and holidays, especially at Grandma's. He was a fan of WWE, Hallmark movies, and had a particular fondness for the classic film, The Christmas Story.
Music played a significant role in Chuck's life; he was an avid listener of bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beatles, The Ronettes, ZZ Top, Mötley Crüe, and Tom Petty. His television favorites included The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle, Perry Mason, I Love Lucy, M*A*S*H, The Brady Bunch, Green Acres, and American Idol, which he enjoyed watching with family.
Chuck's sweet tooth was well-known among his loved ones, as he always delighted in treats. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, love for family, and the joy he brought to those around him. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
