It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Anderson on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, at the age of 82. Charles, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home in Thomasville, GA.

Charles was born on January 31st, 1942, in Thomasville, GA to the late John and Mary Anderson. He grew up in Thomasville, GA and attended Thomas County Central High School where he excelled in both academics and sports such as being on the first football team for the school. After graduating, Charles embarked on a successful career in farming where he was known for his dedication, integrity, and kindness.

In 1965, Charles married the love of his life, Sarah, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. They were blessed with two children, Michael, and Barbra, who were the light of Charles's life. He was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family's needs above his own.

Charles had a passion for traveling in his camper, and he enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, and traveling with his family. He had a kind and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His warm smile and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; children, Renee (Shawn), Ty (Sarah), and Barbra (Tim); grandchildren, Walker, and McKenzie Peace; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Charles's life will be held on Friday April 26th at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.

Charles will be forever remembered for his unwavering love, kindness, and gentle spirit. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and cherished by all who knew him
