Chandra Rene Williams (McKnight). a cherished matriarch. devoted mother. and nurturing soul, departed this world on March 28, 2026.

Born on September 23, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, Chandra was the beloved daughter of the late Reverend Arthur McKnight and Doris Sharp McKnight

Chandra's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to

ner tamily, sne was bredeceased ov ner beloved nuspand, Jimmy vvillams, with whom she shared an enduring marriage that began February 20,2000, her beloved son, Jared McKnight, her adored grandson, Sema'J Mills and her best Starla King.

Her life was further enriched by her children, who were her pride and joy. She was a loving motner to Jocelyn mcknignt, Jenniter chambers and son christian Long all of whom carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. She was also a dedicated mother-in-law to Ashley Scruggs McKnight and Harold Chambers

Chandra was blessed with a family that extended beyond her immediate circle.

She was a nurturing sister to Arthur McKnight Sr. and Cassandra McKnight, and a caring aunt to her special nieces, Ariel Mcknight and Nekia Smith Her life was further brightened by her 12 grandchildren, whom she raised with the same love and care as she did her own children and two great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Chandra's heart knew no bounds. She opened her home and heart to adoptive children and was a beloved figure to a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends and she will be missed immensely.

A graduate of David W. Carter, Chandra chose to dedicate her lite to being a stay-at-home mom, a role she embraced with passion and grace. Her home was

a sanctuary or love, laugnter, and delicious aromas, wnere everyone was welcome and cared for.
