Celestino R. Hernandez, born on July 8, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on November 4, 2024, in his beloved hometown. He was a dedicated family man, leaving behind six children, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cherished friends.

Celestino found joy in the great outdoors, with a deep passion for fishing and hunting. He often spent his days sitting outside, watching birds and feeding squirrels, finding peace in the simple beauty of nature. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his fondness for barbecue, Mexican and Chinese food, and sweet treats.

A fan of oldies music, he especially enjoyed the works of Cornelio Reyna and Vicente Fernández, often reminiscing about the past through the melodies that filled his home. Celestino’s favorite television shows included classic cowboy tales and programs on TBN, reflecting his appreciation for traditional storytelling.

Beyond his hobbies and interests, Celestino was known for his unwavering kindness and willingness to help his community. Whether it was fixing a lawnmower or lending a hand to a neighbor in need, he was always there to assist others.
