Cedric Benard Smith, lovingly known as Ced, passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 51. He was born on December 4, 1972, in Albany, GA, the place he called home throughout his life.

Cedric was a man of many talents and interests. He had a passion for landscaping and was known for his skills as a barber and a handyman. His friends often referred to him as "One call that's all," recognizing his ability to fix just about anything. Cedric loved seafood and enjoyed indulging in his favorite dishes whenever he had the chance.

Nothing brought Cedric more joy than spending time with his beloved wife, Valerie Jones Smith, and his cherished family and friends. He delighted in cooking out for them, showcasing his culinary skills and creating lasting memories.

In his professional life, Cedric served as a Medical Assistant for Phoebe Putney Pulmonology, contributing to the well-being of others. Above all, his proudest accomplishment was his family. He is survived by his daughter, Sedrica Smith, and his granddaughters, Joy and Jayden. Cedric also leaves behind one brother and five sisters, who will miss him deeply.

Cedric will be remembered for his infectious smile and his unwavering loyalty to those he cared about. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
