Cathleen Louise Bolden was born on May 15, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a devoted daughter, loving wife, nurturing mother, and a faithful servant of God. On November 7, 2025, she was called home to be with the Lord, passing peacefully in the same city that shaped her life and the generations that followed her.

Cathleen proudly served as a Registered Nurse, dedicating her life to caring for others with compassion, patience, and grace. Her work in healthcare touched countless lives, and her gentle spirit brought comfort to all who crossed her path.

She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Emmett Bolden Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love, commitment, and family. Together, they raised ten children and built a strong foundation rooted in faith, unity, and unconditional love.

Cathleen’s legacy flourished through her 30 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply. Her family was her pride and joy, and she poured love, wisdom, and guidance into every generation.

A woman grounded in faith, Cathleen loved God wholeheartedly. Her spiritual strength shaped her kindness, resilience, and capacity to give without hesitation. She lived her life with purpose—serving, uplifting, and nurturing everyone blessed to know her.
