Catherine's favorite hobbies

Cathy loved the outdoors. She loved to take long walks and chat with neighbors along the way or just sit on the front porch of the home she shared with her sister, enjoying a peaceful evening. But most of all, she adored gardening and relished the fruits of her labor. Her beautiful flowers adorned the vases around their home and vegetables gave life to every dish on their table.

Cathy loved her family, her sons, her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She loved them all. She would do her best to remember everyone's birthday so that she could call them to wish them well. Being with family energized her and filled her with a joyful spirit. Cathy was a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority and she loved wearing their colors, pink and green! Cathy was also an avid antique collector. She collected amazing antiquities from the years she spent living abroad in Europe and Asia, not to mention those she collected here in the US.

Cathy loved nothing and no one more than Jesus Christ. He was first and foremost in her life and if you ever asked her how she was doing, her response would be, "I am mighty blessed!"
