Cătălin "Cat" Paina, born in Timisoara, Romania, passed away leaving behind a legacy of determination, adventure, and laughter. Cătălin spent his childhood in the small town of Jimbolia. He moved to Dearborn, Michigan, in 1996, where he spent his formative years before embarking on a journey to Las Vegas, Nevada that would shape his career and life.

After graduating high school, Cătălin pursued his dreams in the dining and hospitality business, attending culinary arts school and eventually carving out a productive career as a mixologist. His spirit and hard-working nature earned him respect in his field, as he crafted drinks and conversation that delighted and connected people from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Cătălin found joy in building and repairing Jeeps and exploring the desert with his beloved dogs, who were his faithful companions on countless drives through breathtaking landscapes. He treasured moments of connection, whether he was enjoying meals with friends and family or simply sharing his infectious laughter and stories.

Cătălin is survived by his loving parents, Ioan and Florica; his sister Ligia and her husband Neale; his nephews, Luca and Noah; his aunt Ana; and cousins Doris and Meda, along with their families. He leaves behind treasured memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories of those who will always hold him close in their hearts.
