Ms. Casandra Johnson was born on September 13,1976 to the late Wilbert Johnson Sr and Annie Mae Johnson. She attended Andrew Jackson HS and graduated from Andrew Jackson HS. She was employed by Aspire at Jacksonville for 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles and cousin. She leaves to cherish her memory LaPorcha Palmer(daughter), Orlando Palmer(son), JaNayshia Johnson(daughter) Samuel Glenn(son) andTyriq Cobb(grandson). Oldest sister Bessie Battle and brother Wilbert Johnson Jr(Bridgett). Niece Demetrice Battle and nephew LaDarius Richardson. Grand nieces and nephew Jada Dames, Makayla Richardson and Johan Hansford and step dad Isaiah Byers. Aunts and uncles of Mom side Cathy Spriggs(Rob), Floyd Washington, Eric Washington, Zelda Fleming, Synette West(Roderick), Gloria Washington, Sylvia Young(Micheal) and Michael Smith(Shadequa). Aunt's on Dad side Patrica Johnson, Shirley Hendley(Arthur), Catherine Banks, and Carolyn Solomon(Alphonso). Closest cousins Jovan Hudson, Derek Hudson and Carlesha Lynch. Special friends are Nikki Williams, Tiffany Peterson, Bianca Humphrey, Shantavia Williams, Voncilla Daniels,and Haylan Washington and a host of other relatives and friends. CaSandra Yvonne Johnson, born on September 13, 1976, in Jacksonville, FL, passed away on January 29, 2025, in her beloved hometown. A proud graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, CaSandra dedicated 25 years of service to Aspire at Jacksonville, where she made lasting connections and contributed significantly to her community.
CaSandra was known for her love of seafood and enjoyed sharing meals with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother to her four children: LaPorcha Palmer, Orlando Palmer, JaNayshia Johnson, and Samuel Glenn, as well as a cherished grandmother to her grandson, Tyriq Cobb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Johnson Sr. and Annie Mae Johnson, along with her grandparents and several other family members. CaSandra is survived by her oldest sister, Bessie Battle, and her brother, Wilbert Johnson Jr. (Bridgett). She also leaves behind her niece, Demetrice Battle, and nephew, LaDarius Richardson, along with grand nieces and nephews Jada Dames, Makayla Richardson, and Johan Hansford.
CaSandra's extended family includes her stepfather, Isaiah Byers, aunts and uncles from both her mother's and father's sides, as well as her closest cousins, Jovan Hudson, Derek Hudson, and Carlesha Lynch. She will be deeply missed by her special friends, including Nikki Williams, Tiffany Peterson, Bianca Humphrey, Shantavia Williams, Voncilla Daniels, and Haylan Washington, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Her warmth, dedication, and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew her.
