Born to Al and Catherine Fenger, she married her High School sweetheart Lloyd Sims when she was 19 years old, they had 5 children Tim, Terry (Carol), Larry (Patty), Greg (Paula) Sims, and Dawn (Matthew) Helmes. She has 15 grandchildren Chris (Melissa) Sims, Alicia Sims, Joshua (Mackenzie) Sims, Bradley, Holly and Nicholas Sims, Cody Self, Aaron Schurdak and Samantha Culbertson, Krystina (Dylan) Sims, Seth and Cassidy Helmes. And 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
