Carole Carty-Reingardt passed away on Friday December 27th, 2024. Carole was born to Eldon and Olive Carty in the town of Rushville, IL on June 27th, 1939. She met her future husband, Terre Reingardt on a blind date on his birthday in December 1960 and they were married 63 days later. They were happily married for almost 64 years. Carole is survived by her husband Terre, sons Todd and Troy, daughter in law Kerry, grandchildren Kelsie, Camden, Ashlynn, Shanna and Giovonny.

Carole loved to travel and especially cruising. Carol and Terre completed 39 cruises to many parts of the world. Her favorites were a six week trip to Europe and the Mediterranean and another seven week trip to Australia / New Zealand. Carole and Terre began their life in Illinois but also lived in Virginia and Minnesota before settling in Colorado more than 42 years ago. She was a secretary in large engineering companies wherever they lived.

Terre's pet name for Carole was "Kitten" as she was one the most kind and gentile ladies he knew. She always had a kind attitude and loved to meet new people even though she was a private person. She was a wonderful wife and will be loved forever.

She underwent chemo, radiation and surgery to fight her cancer. After spending 5 weeks in hospice care, Carole had donated her body to Science Care for the study of organ failure and other life threatening diseases.
