Carol worked as a cashier and manager for many years, bringing a smile and kindness to all who frequented the places she worked. She worked for Hardee's for.many years. She moved from the Shelby area in 1997 to Northport, to manage another Hardee's store, and then moved to the Eutaw/Union area, where she remained. Carol was at home no matter where she lived, and welcomed everyone in as family.

Carol Ann Pearson announces her passing.
Carol passed away on March 10, 2025, in Birmingham, AL.
Carol was born on January 21, 1955, in Oklahoma.
Carol enjoyed painting, gardening, crafts, and
Civil war re-enactments.
Carol is survived by her son, Joshua Jones (Angie)
of West Blocton,
Granddaughters-Ronnysha Harkness (Jerome) of Greene Co., AL,
Brooklyne Brechin (Donnie) of Dothan, AL,
Christina “Grace” Jones-Lambert (Jake),
Kristy Jones of AR,
Grandson, Joshua “Grayson” Jones (Hannah) of West Blocton,
Great-grandchildren- Charlotte Jones of AR,
Josie Lambert and Henry Jones of West Blocton,
Brother Milton “Bud” Pearson (Mary) of Shelby,
And numerous other cherished relatives in AL and TN.
Carol was preceded in death by her daughter,
Tamar Jones, of Clanton, grandson,
James “Jamie” Jones of Dumas, AR,
Parents, Milton “Buddy” (Vassie) Pearson, of Shelby, AL
There will be a Memorial service held on Saturday,
March 22, 2025, at 1 pm, at 1st Baptist Church of Shelby,
in Shelby, AL.
