MUNCIE - Carol Johnson, 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior, while surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.

She was born on May 1, 1956, in Muncie, the daughter of Donald and Naomi (Henderson)Lutz. She graduated from Yorktown High School in 1974. On July 26,1975 she married Jerry L. Johnson.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grand child.

Survivors include one son, Jeremiah Johnson (wife, Megan); one daughter, Leanne Bowden (husband, Sam); five grandchildren, Tailor, Madalyne, Bentley, Jack, and Charlotte; one great-grandchild, Allison; one brother Steve Henderson (Judie); one sister Angie Smith (Rick); in-laws, Larry Johnson (Judy), Sherri Wilson (Charlie), and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Johnson; one daughter, Erica Johnson; her in-laws, Ed and Rosemary Johnson and two brother in-laws Charles and Dave Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 13, 2025, at Fountain Square Methodist Church, 4405 S. Madison St., Muncie, In, 47302. It will held in the cabin behind the church from 2-4.
