Obituario

Carol Anne Bonnet-Bryan, a true force of nature and the life of every party, passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2024 at the age of 73. Known for her fiery spirit, sassy wit, and a heart as big as Montana’s wide-open skies, she lived life on her own terms and loved every wild minute of it.

A lover of good times and great company, Carol could often be found with a drink in hand, raising a glass with friends, and telling stories that had everyone laughing until they cried. The rodeo was her playground, where she cheered louder than anyone in the stands and carried the excitement of every bull ride and barrel race deep in her soul.

Travel was her passion — from cross-country road trips to spontaneous getaways — she was always ready to pack a bag and hit the road with that signature sass and sparkle in her eye. Her laughter was infectious, her loyalty unwavering, and her presence unforgettable.

She leaves behind a legacy of joy, courage, and unforgettable memories for her family and friends who were lucky enough to know her. Her spirit lives on in every wild adventure, every rodeo cheer, and every glass raised in her honor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Theophil, her brother Wendall, sisters Bonnie Sanders and Sharon Mickelson.

She is survived her daughter Jodi Witt, sisters Mashall (Gordy) Knoll and Tana (Gary) Galland. Granddaughter Misty (Rick) Moore and Grandson Arron. (Lacey) Witt. She has 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held on July 19th at the VFW Post 6774. In lieu of flowers, please raise a glass and share a story — just the way she would have wanted.
