During his two tours in Vietnam and three times stationed at Camp LeJeune, NC, he was sprayed with agent orange, drank the poisoned water of Camp LeJeune, and contracted a rare form of malaria called Cerebral Malaria. Yet he did his best at everything he tried to do throughout his life.
