Carl Ryan Mikes, affectionately known as Bubba, passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 58. He was born on August 7, 1965, in Luling, Texas. Carl was a beloved member of his community and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He resided in Millington, Tennessee, at the time of his passing, but his heart always remained in his hometown of Luling. Carl had a zest for life and enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He found solace and joy in fishing, spending quality time with his cherished grandchildren, and passionately supporting the Dallas football team.

When it came to food, Carl had a particular fondness for Mexican cuisine and the mouthwatering flavors of Texas barbecue. However, what truly brought him the greatest happiness was taking care of his grandchildren, whom he adored with all his heart.

Professionally, Carl served as a Maintenance Manager, excelling in his field throughout his career. Yet, his proudest accomplishments and contributions were his children and grandchildren. Ryan, his son, and Lauren, his daughter, were his pride and joy.

Carl Ryan Mikes leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. His warm smile, generous nature, and unwavering commitment to family will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace, knowing that his spirit lives on through the lives he touched.
