Carin "Grams" Lamberson passed away in her home on May 13th, 2024 surrounded by family. Carin was born on July 7, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY. She was raised in Ilion NY by her parents, Anthony and Rita Cafarelli. Carin graduated High School in Ilion and then joined the Army where she served from 1965-68. In 1969 she had her son, her everything Todd. She worked and retired from New York state where she had many stories and long lasting friendships from. In 1986 her granddaughter Mandy was born and she took on the role of raising her throughout her life. In 2010 Carin moved to Rio Rancho, NM to be with her granddaughter and in time her two great-granddaughters Leah and Allie Perez. Leah and Allie were her world and she spent her days spoiling them, taking them everywhere, sleep overs, snuggles and so much more. She was never a fan of NM, her heart was always in NY but she would never leave their side. Everyone that knew her knows she rescued several dogs throughout the years and was always part of dog rescue organizations. She was a "Grams" to several people from NY to NM and we loved just hanging out hearing her stories from growing up, friendships and experiences throughout her life. We miss her tons and life will never be the same without her.

Carin "Grams" is survived by Mandy, Savannah, Leah, Allie, Serenity, Summer and Ryder. Alyssa, Jordan, Aubrey, Olivia and Josephine. Patricia, Hailey, Alyvia, Derek and Antonio. Bradley. Brandon. Kelsey, Chase, Eliana, and Jaxson. Edward, Maria and La. Candy, Kelly and Monte. Her forever friend Faith.

Carin "Grams" is preceded in death by Todd Lamberson (son), Anthony and Rita Cafarelli (mom and dad), Donald Bakasy (cousin), Tammy Caporale and so many of her rescue dogs.

Services will be as follows:

June 8th, 2024 from 12-2 at her home 360 Coral Dr NE Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

July 13th, 2024 in Ilion, NY. Time and place TBD
