Caridad Sama, lovingly known as Mima, passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on November 17, 1948, in Havana, Cuba. Caridad, most recently residing in Las Vegas, NV, was a dedicated Christian and a beloved professor.

Caridad's life motto, "Ella Jura," exemplified her strong faith and determination. She found great joy in her role as a professor, guiding and inspiring her students to pursue knowledge and reach their full potential. Her commitment to education and her passion for teaching left an indelible impact on the lives of those she encountered.

Beyond her professional achievements, Caridad was known for her generous heart and selflessness. She touched the lives of many through her acts of kindness, providing for the basic needs of those less fortunate and feeding the homeless. Her compassion and dedication to helping others were truly remarkable.

Caridad will be lovingly remembered by her dear parents, Reynaldo Martínez, Yaramis Bosch-Sama, and Natalie Cervantes-Sama, as well as her extended family and friends. Her infectious spirit and zest for life will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
