Candilaria Mayo, known affectionately as Candy, was born on April 12, 1969, in Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. She passed away peacefully on December 8, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she had resided in recent years.
Candy was a devoted mother who cherished spending time with her children, Maralizeth Mayo and Michael Mayo. She was the heart of her family and loved nothing more than bringing them together. Her vibrant personality and outgoing nature meant she easily connected with those around her, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family alike.
In addition to her love for her family, Candy had a passion for seafood, often preparing delicious meals that brought loved ones to the table. She was also part of a large family herself, having grown up with eight siblings, which fostered a lifelong appreciation for close family ties.
Candy is survived by her loving spouse, Chava Hernandez, who stood by her side through many of life’s ups and downs. Her legacy of love, laughter, and strong family values will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.
