Byron Lee Nelson, born on September 8, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on September 21, 2024, at Hospice of Dayton. Byron was a dedicated entrepreneur who owned a successful tree trimming business, where he took pride in his work and the relationships he built with his clients.
He is remembered for his favorite saying, "The early bird gets the worm," a reflection of his strong work ethic and commitment to success. Byron's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly the thriving business he built, which served the Dayton community for many years.
Byron is survived by his son, Byron Lee Nelson Jr., as well as his siblings: Gary, Daryl, Treva, Tonya, Monica, and Sonnie. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and a love for his family and community. His spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We'd like to give a special thanks to the doctors and staff of Hospice of Dayton and the Kettering Memorial Hospital during this time.
