His two daughters Kristy and Megan, his granddaughter Brooke and his grandson Maddox.
Being outdoors, in the woods, enjoying fresh air and nature.
He enjoyed watching basketball, and stayed a loyal fan to the Boston Celtics.
Bruce William Griffin, born on March 10, 1971, in Machias, Maine, passed away on October 8, 2024, in his beloved hometown. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished the moments spent with his daughters, Kristy Griffin and Megan Griffin, as well as his grandchildren, Brooke Chagnon and Maddox Carlow.
Bruce was passionate about the great outdoors, finding joy in hunting and snowmobiling, and he often spent time driving around and soaking in the beauty of nature. His favorite place was always in the woods, where he felt most at peace. He was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying basketball, and remained a loyal fan of the Boston Celtics.
For 25 years, Bruce shared his life with Bonnie Bedard, the mother of his children. He was known affectionately as “Dad” and “Grampy,” titles he wore with pride. Bruce was a kind and generous individual, known for his huge heart and willingness to help others. His caring nature was balanced by a stubbornness that came from his passion for his beliefs; he was never shy about sharing his honest opinions and advice.
Bruce was preceded in passing by his beloved mother Sheila Look. He was survived by his father, Bill Griffin and partner Anna, his brother Corey Griffin and partner Deanna, brother Wade Griffin and wife Lisa as well as his daughter Kristy Griffin and Fiancé Darrell Carlow, his daughter Megan Griffin and partner Nathan Chagnon and his two grandchildren Brooke Chagnon and Maddox Carlow, along with his nieces and nephews and their children. All of whom got the gift of experiencing his love. Bruce left a lasting impact on the lives of those around him. No matter the challenges he faced, he always ensured that his daughters and grandchildren felt his unwavering love. He never missed an opportunity to remind them of their importance in his life, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts. Bruce will be remembered for his kindness, his love for family, and his zest for life.
