Bruce Rae Blacklock, born on May 28, 1931, in Little Shemogue, NB, Canada, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024, in Moncton, NB, Canada. He is remembered as a kind, generous, and adventurous soul who brought joy to those around him.
Bruce, known as Rae, lived an extraordinary life, including a period in Vietnam before the war. He was a dedicated business owner and entrepreneur, however, his proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children, Carolyn and Chris, who were the center of his world. He cherished every moment spent with them and took immense pride in being their father.
A strong family man, Bruce enjoyed countless summers at the family cottage in Murray Corner, a place that held a special place in his heart. He is survived by his former wife, Connie, and their two beloved children, as well as his grandchildren, Lilia and Sawyer, who brought him great joy.
Bruce is also survived by his younger brother, Tom, who will carry on his memory. He will be remembered for his calm demeanor, sense of fun, and the love he shared with family and friends. He touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will not be forgotten.
