Brian's favorite hobbies were any activities with Heather, his wife of over 20 years, including skywatching, camping, lapidary and gem showing, climbing and going on adventures. They would often disappear on weekends into one of the many National Parks in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. He loved the historic Georgetown Loop Railroad and Brian was also an avid Star Wars fan, going so far as to call his white Subaru Princess Leia. He followed The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia, making him a true Dead Head. Brian was part of the Ham Radio network contacting and conversing with other Ham Radio operators as far away as Germany.
Brian loved anything sweet, especially cookies and brownies! He always had a can of Coca-Cola or, if an adult beverage was in order, he reached for a craft brew from Breckenridge Brewery. Brian and Heather shared a love for fondue, grilling and smoking, and cooking dinners together.
