Brian Lee Westbrooks, 82, of Houston Texas passed away on April 2, 2024 . Born on December 8, 1942, Brian was a loving husband to Edna Jean Westbrooks and a devoted father to Martin E Westbrooks, Gayla Westbrooks-Mitchell (Kenneth), and Lena Westbrooks-Johnson. He was also a proud grandfather to Jaelin Williams, Jamari Williams, Destiny Westbrooks, and Brandon Westbrooks. Brian is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Brian, known for his love of fishing and working around his farm, was a dedicated member of South Main Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and was a proud McKinley High School alum.

In addition to his family and military service, Brian will be remembered for his passion for fishing, volunteering in his community and farm work. His life will be celebrated on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Garden Oaks Funeral Home in Houston, Texas.

Brian Lee Westbrooks was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Arthur Westbrooks, mother, Candice Ann Westbrooks, and sister, Rhonda McElroy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
