Brenton Lewis Bell (January 28, 1984 – October 9, 2024) Brenton Lewis Bell, 40, of Austin, left this world to join our Father in Heaven, on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ in Hyde Park Austin, TX on October 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm. He is survived by his loving parents, Ronald Bell and Shirley (Rose) Bell, of Austin, TX; his sister and brother-in-law, Carrie (Bell) and Terry Marsh of Big Sandy, TX; his sister, Emily Bell of Austin, TX; his sister Jennifer (Bell) Carlson of Austin, TX; his niece, Mikala Bell of Lubbock, TX; his nephew, River Bell of Austin, TX; and his nephews, Sawyer & Oliver Carlson of Austin, TX. He is also survived by a large family of aunts, an uncle and many cousins, including Angela (Wade) Lewis, who was more like a sister than a cousin. He was predeceased by both sets of grandparents, Jimmy & Carolyn Rose, Lewis Bell and Florence Nelda Williams; two uncles, William & Loren Bell and two cousins, Daniel Weeks and Suzanne Wade; and his loving dog, Kira. Brenton was born in Oklahoma City, OK on January 28, 1984. He was the youngest child and only boy in a family full of sisters, but he always helped his sisters and mother whenever he was asked (and sometimes when he wasn’t), so his sisters and mother could never help but dote on him. Brent gave back all the love he was given from his family and friends in so many ways, but mostly by making them smile with his silly jokes and by always helping when asked. He was notorious for sharing funny clips he found online. They will miss that. His lifelong friendship with, Brett Shanley of Auburn, CA, was a brotherhood, and his family always appreciated he found a life brother. Brent loved his siblings. All of them have great experiences and will miss him like crazy and have so many stories about how he helped them in so many ways. Brent adored his mother to no end. He would always run to her if she asked him for anything. If she wanted a coffee or tea, Brent was there to serve her. He never complained. Brent had a particularly close relationship with his father. They would watch movies together, remember silly quotes and laugh about them while working on car repairs for Brent’s friends and family. Almost every year, Brent’s father took him and his nephews on “men” vacations so they could bond. Those were some of his best life experiences. He is truly missed and will always be loved. Brent, we love you.
