Bradford Doyle Brewster, known affectionately as Brewster, passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on January 27, 1958, in Akron, Ohio, he spent his final years in Whitmire, South Carolina. Brewster was a talented carpenter and artist, known for transforming wood into fantastic and functional objects.
He attended Culver Military Academy, where he began forging the honest and reliable character that would define him. Brewster had a passion for trecking through the woods, twisty stick collecting, and a love for blues music. His favorite ice cream flavor was pistachio, which he enjoyed while sharing stories and laughter with friends and family.
Brewster shared a deep bond with his partner, Mary Jane, for several years, and he found joy in the company of his family, including his mother, Susie father, Sox and siblings Susan, Tina, and Jay. He lovingly embraced his role as an uncle to several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Known for his fearless nature, Brewster was a man of full honesty and cared deeply for those around him. His memorable quotes, such as "but did you die?" and "Get on it," reflected his candid approach to life. He often encouraged others with a simple yet profound perspective: "How did that work out for you?"

He left an indelible mark on the lives of many, inspiring them with his unwavering support and kindness. His presence made others feel whole and understood, a testament to the impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him.
As a "hopeful agnostic," Brewster explored life's mysteries with an open heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the countless memories and stories shared by loved ones.
