Bonnie Lee Clemmons
April 21, 1946 – May 31, 2025
Bonnie Lee Clemmons, a devoted community servant, skilled tradesman, and faithful member of the West Dallas Community Church, passed away on May 31, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 79.
Born in Longview, Texas, on April 21, 1946, Bonnie moved to Dallas in 1960, where he would spend the rest of his life rooted in service, faith, and hard work. A proud graduate of Metropolitan Technical Institute of Dallas, Bonnie built his career as a mechanic and welder, known for both his craftsmanship and quiet strength.
In 1989, Bonnie was ordained as a deacon at West Dallas Community Church, where he led with humility and heart. For many years, he oversaw the church’s weekly family food pantry, providing nourishment and hope to countless families in the community he cherished.
Bonnie is survived by his son, Bonnie Clemmons Jr., and three grandchildren: Amy Weatherford, Thomas Clemmons, and Henry Williams. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Doris Stall; his daughter, Peggy Williams; and his sons, Christopher Williams and Curtis Clemmons.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at West Dallas Community Church, located at 2215 Canada Dr, Dallas, Texas.
Funeral services will follow on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., also at West Dallas Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the West Dallas Community Church Food Pantry, continuing Bonnie’s legacy of service to those in need.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, support, and love during this time. Bonnie’s life was a blessing, and his memory will forever be cherished.
His hands were strong, his faith was steady, and his heart was always open. Bonnie Lee Clemmons leaves behind a legacy of love and service.
