Bob (Robert) R. Manuel, a lifelong mechanic, passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born on April 1, 1953, in Ingersoll, ON, Canada, and had been residing in Woodstock for most of his life.

Bob had a passion for his work as a mechanic, dedicating his life to the craft. However, his true joy came from watching his grandsons' baseball games. He found immense happiness and pride in supporting them from the sidelines.

Bob was married to Kathryn (Grant)Manuel, and they shared a beautiful life together. They had three children, Karolyn (Mike) Gilbert, Jeannette (James) Walker, and David Manuel. Bob was a loving grandfather to Dominik, Mackenzie, Jasmyne, and Jaime.

He is survived by his siblings Elaine (Len)Trembly, Tim (Saida)Manuel, and Larry (Peggy)Manuel. Additionally, Bob was an uncle to Melissa, Amanda, Adam, and Erin. He was predeceased by his sister Kathy and nephew Tom.

Anyone who knew Bob recognized his straightforward nature and stubbornness. He never hesitated to tell it like it was. His unwavering personality made him who he was, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life for Bob will take place at a later date to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local WMBA in honor of Bob's love for his grandsons' baseball endeavors.
