His extended family included sister-in-laws Ann Dean of San Augustine, Texas; Faye Shelton of Clyde, Texas; and Teresa Camp of Clyde, Texas.

Billy was married to Deborah Klein of Chireno, Texas. Their 36-year marriage stood as a testament to enduring love and mutual devotion. Together they built a home filled with warmth and care, where animals were treated as cherished members of the family.

A skilled tile and stone setter, Billy owned and operated his own business for many years. His work was known for its quality and precision, reflecting both his craftsmanship and strong work ethic. He earned the respect of clients and colleagues alike through his dedication to doing things right.
