Till my Day's are done

Well I'm down to the bottom of this bottle of whiskey, and smoked my last cigarette. Another week came and gone. Wrote a note on livin' wrong. But I still can't hang my head. I've been down in the dumps, but I'll never be a punk. You ain't never gonna see me beg. I was taught to be a good man, treat your people right. Never pull a gun, if you're just going to run. Look another man in his eye's, and never back down. Son, don't surrender. Don't you tuck your tail and be a stand-up man, every chance you can. Always give 'em hell, and always pray to the man above. Raised hell with the best of 'em, slipped past the rest. Ain't had a pot to piss in but yet they were impressed. I guess it's just my style, the way I make 'em smile. From my bad boy ways, always been buck-wild. Never took no shit, don't plan to now. Keep it as real as it gets, and never back down. Been through hell and back, but I never lost my way. Been heart broken, been betrayed but was too young to see my grave. Too dumb to let it go, but was wise enough to turn the page, cause the day is going to come where my work here is done. There won't be nothin' left, cause I won't run from a destination, and I won't hide when my day comes. I was born an outlaw, that's what I'll be until my Day's are done...
