Beverly Jean Pickering, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, just days shy of her 81st birthday, in Belfast, Maine. Born on September 27, 1943, Beverly lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for nature and family.

Beverly was known affectionately as Nanny, Bev, and Aunt Beba to her family and friends. She had a passion for bird watching and gardening, which reflected her love for the outdoors. Her creative spirit shone through her knitting and her unique collection of cats, which brought her immense joy. Beverly found solace and happiness in the melodies of Elvis, whose music often filled her home.

Family was the cornerstone of Beverly's life. She is survived by her three children, Helen, Mike, and Melissa, who cherish the memories of their time together. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Sara, April, Jeremy, and Janelle, as well as her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Faith, Regina, and Gage. Beverly's love for her family was unconditional, and she valued every moment spent with them.

She was married to Roger Pickering, with whom she built a life rich in love and laughter. Beverly often reminded those around her to "Have a good"—a simple mantra that encapsulated her positive outlook on life.
