Bettsy is survived by her daughter, Sandy Cooper, son-in-law, Glenn, and granddaughter, Taylor, of Hendersonville, TN; son, Brian Smith, daughter-in-law, Kelly, and grandchildren, Jasper and Vivian, of Brentwood, TN; brother, Ed Farkas and sister-in-law Diane, and brother Mike Farkas .

Betty Sue Franklin (Farkas) lovingly known as Bettsy, passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on January 11, 1949, in Sewickley, PA, and most recently resided in Naples, FL, where she found solace in the beautiful beach.
Bettsy spent many memorable childhood years with extended family in Buckhannon, West Virginia. She recently had a passion for reading and watching crime television and spent countless hours immersed in the pages of her favorite books or watching Dateline.
Professionally, Bettsy dedicated 27 years of her life to Delta Airlines, where she made valuable contributions in Customer Service and Marketing. Her commitment and dedication to her work were admired by her colleagues and left a lasting impact.
Bettsy was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Andrew Farkas. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Cooper, son-in-law, Glenn, and granddaughter, Taylor, of Hendersonville, TN; son, Brian Smith, daughter-in-law, Kelly, and grandchildren, Jasper and Vivian, of Brentwood, TN; brother, Ed Farkas and sister-in-law Diane, and brother Mike Farkas.
Throughout her life, Bettsy found immense happiness in the company of her loved ones, cherishing the moments spent together going out to eat, shopping, and laughing. Her warm smile and caring nature will be dearly missed.
Betty Sue Franklin (Farkas) will forever be remembered for her laughter, her love and devotion to her children and beloved grandchildren, and her unwavering dedication to her profession. May she rest in eternal peace.
