Betty Ruth Jackson, born on June 3, 1947, in Valdosta, GA, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, in Cleveland, OH. A devoted registered nurse, Betty earned her nursing degree and dedicated her life to helping others, a passion that defined her career and personal life.
Betty was known for her love of fishing and dancing, often found enjoying the rhythm of old school R&B and blues. She relished the simple pleasures in life, particularly her favorite foods: cheesecake, and steak and potatoes. Her joyful spirit was complemented by her fondness for beloved destinations like Disney World and Cedar Point, where she created cherished memories with family and friends.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Leonard Jackson and Cheret Jackson, as well as her daughter, Tiffany Allen, and her cherished grandson, Johnathan Jackson. Betty was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta, contributing her time and energy to community service.
A devoted Protestant, Betty's faith was an integral part of her life. She will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering dedication to her family, and her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
