Betty Jean Pelshaw, a loving and caring woman who touched the lives of many, passed away on July 21, 2024, She was born on May 18, 1942, in Detroit, MI. Betty's proudest accomplishment and contribution in life was her family.
Betty was married to Donald Pelshaw and together they built a life filled with love and joy. She is survived by her seven children: Keith (Debbie) Pelshaw, Karen Pelshaw, Dennis (Dominica) Pelshaw, Dale Pelshaw, Dawn Taylor, Kat (Cola) Strong, and Bonnie Hull. Betty was also blessed with 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Family meant everything to Betty, and she always wished for her children and grandchildren to find happiness, regardless of their wealth or status. Her genuine love and care for her family will forever be cherished.
Betty is also survived by her brothers Robert (Marie) Campbell, John (Judy) Campbell, William Campbell, and her sister Peggy (Tom) Naidus.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Vera Campbell, Her siblings Donald (Joanne) Campbell, Carole (Ron) Gross, and Sister in law Lillie Campbell and her Great Grandson Steven Pelshaw Jr.
Throughout her life, Betty Jean Pelshaw lived by the motto, "I want all my kids and grandkids to be happy. I don't care if they are rich or poor as long as they are happy." Her kind heart and selfless nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Betty will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. May she rest in eternal peace.
