In the early years she loved decorating cakes as well as various arts and crafts. She was extremely good at it I might add. Oh and she probably lost money on every cake she ever made but she didn't do it for the money. In typical Mom fashion she was always looking to put a smile on the faces around her and that she did. She made some of the most amazing wedding and birthday cakes over the years. It used to drive her crazy that I hated frosting, so it was difficult for her to make me birthday cakes. The last one I remember was a Nascar cake, but the deal was she had to understand if I was going to eat it I would not eat the frosting. Let me tell you that was one cool ass cake and I was so proud to show all my friends! In the later years she found great enjoyment from making grab bags to sell at the Flea Market which she literally spent hours and hours shopping for the supplies because the smiles on the children's faces is all she was after. I bet she never made one dime of profit over the many years she did this, but it didn't matter at all to her because all she needed was to make children happy.
She loved nothing more than to spoil children! She has left such a huge impact on all that she touched through the years! Over the course of less than 15 yrs she took in 36 foster children before adopting Priscilla. I swear if she could've have adopted all of them.
Anywhere she could love on children
